West Michigan Mid-Sixties MP3s
This sounds pretty good. My husband was the drummer for The Quests. We still have the records and all the promotional materials: jukebox labels, Top 40 charts, photos from Lookout hill and Monroe Ave, newspaper articles. A year ago, I had their 3 45's digitally remastered and burned on a CD. Our son who is a graphics designer for Allegro Music Corp. designed the CD label and case jacket using all the old memorabilia. It's really cool, now the music will be available when no one has a 45 record player anymore.

Posted by: Joyce Turmell at September 30, 2004 04:44 PMSounds great!!! Is there any way I could get a copy. I have all 3 records, but they're pretty well scratched up from lots of plays.
Posted by: jim at October 7, 2004 07:34 PMMy brother-in-law was an excellent drummer and has passed his talents onto his son.
Glad you enjoy his music!
Hi Joyce and Neil. Would love to hear from you. Will try to find e-mail to write. The old stuff sounds really interesting. Bob Fritzen psych321@myway.com
Posted by: Bob Fritzen at January 17, 2007 08:25 AMNeil shouldn't get all the attention here! It was the lead guitarist (me) that all the girls were after! Ah, for the "good old days" in GR. Let's cut a new record, what do you say? Still have the old drums, Neil? Lyle Hotchkiss
Posted by: Lyle Hotchkiss at April 2, 2007 01:26 PMMy grandpa is the bass guitar. Also, I love the music he plays.
Posted by: Lexy at August 15, 2007 05:47 PMCongrats to my brother, on the recent updated music, and band reunion. Keep playing for a long time, and good luck to all the Quests, young and OLD.
