Hi Skeets,
George Voss was the only one to play with Me and Dem Guys,he joined in 1971 replacing Jan Porter for the final year the band was together.
Have a good one,Keith

Now thats a band I haven't heard of in a long time. Me and Dem Guys. Hell, it wasn't a band, it was a small orchestra. I was head bartender in the "Alpine Saloon" at Westgate Bowl way back in the 60's when they played there. They was a band of all bands. Keith, Jan, Frank Eimer. The place was always packed, with a long line outside. It was a real honor to have heard those guys play. Doug Taylor

Hi Doug,
Thanks for the fond memories!
I still stay in touch with all the guys even though they're scattered across the country.

I've got a bunch of pictures from our time in the Alpine Saloon in the 60's if you're interested get with me and I'll get some to you!

Keith, Those were great memories. Do you have any pictures of the crowd in the Alpine Saloon. I would probably know a bunch of people. I worked their (Westgate Bowl) for 5 years. But also worked many many bars in GR. Also worked for Coral Gables in Saugatuck.(Old Crow) I had a fun life. You'd remember me. I was always giving you drinks. lol. That room (Alpine Saloon) held 450 people and you guys always had a waiting line at the door clear out to the bowling counter. Send any pictures to ( thelineman16@comcast.net ) and I'll try to find one of myself from that bygone era. This room sure is a lot more fun than the campaign coverage. I use to see Frank Eimer a lot back in the late 70's. I'll keep in touch. Doug Taylor
