West Michigan Mid-Sixties Bands
I saw these guys play a reunion show last year at the magic stick in Detroit. the Go opened up for them. and some other band. good show

Posted by: Johm at November 26, 2005 10:48 PMThere were three Female Leads (as far as I know0, who sang w/ Tom Carter and the Ramrods. 1st Female lead was Cathy Caylor
2nd (for a brief time) was Lin'Nowicki, who later sang w/Lin' and the Invaders.
3rd Female lead, in the late 60s was the drummer's wife, Patsy Stevens.
The Soundsations LP on Phalanx is actually The Ramrods with Patsy Stevens as lead singer which evolved into another LP as Stevens Express.

Radio station WGVU 1480 AM,and on the internet still plays their music. It's on 24/7 it's the only public sponsered station in the country that plays oldies.
